Since late 2012, I have been working on topics related to sustainability -mainly climate sustainability- from political economy perspectives. In other words, most of my work in this area has something to do with explaining policy outputs as aggregated interests of voters, interest groups, and policymakers. I'm hoping that, with these empirical studies, our society can gain a more nuanced understanding of (1) how heterogeneous policy preferences and policy-related behavior emerge among stakeholders, and (2) under what conditions some stakeholders succeed in attaining their policy goals more than others.
