Public Opinion & Science Communication

Public opinion is a subfield of Political Science. What is related and increasingly important is a field of science communication, which typically belongs to the communication department. For me, it is difficult to treat them separately. On the one hand, traditional public opinion research deals with how people form their opinions and attitudes. Since my research, especially on sustainability, involves people's attitudes towards a technology and policy, it is difficult to neglect how the known scientific evidence behind the technology or policy arrives at people's minds and how it is processed. This page showcase some of my work related to these topics.
